| I searched, and will use the Caliper Rebuild Guide at this link: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/caliperrebuild/caliperrebuild.html ] I tried replacing the front pads and rotors, only to find a seized front-left caliper. The car has 138,000 miles, and seems like it was previously owned by Wile E. Coyote. All rotors are scorched and all pads are below 10% life (amongst other things). I'd like to remove, disassemble, repair, paint, and reassemble the calipers. The guide looks pretty straight-forward. My question is specific to the caliper pistons and piston bores. Is there a spec I can use as a reference when measuring the pistons and bores with a micrometer? I plan on using hone to clean things up and don't want to remove too much material. I imagine I'd have to split the calipers to get the micrometer in there; opinions on this? Any additional information anyone feels would help me along the way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :-)
